Opening the hand of thought
Instruction in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction
and Zen Buddhist meditation
Our Meditation Classes will now be offered in the Pacific Northwest beginning in the Fall of 2010 Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction: Adopting an awareness practice
Mindfulness is a way of learning to relate
directly to whatever is happening in your life.
It is a way of doing something for yourself that only you can do –
consciously and systematically working with your own stress, pain, illness and
the challenges of everyday life. Students in this 6-week course will be introduced to the concept of mindfulness and guided in how to create their own mindfulness practice, one that incorporates meditation and yoga, and enables you to use your innate resources and abilities to respond more effectively to stress.
